The cement industry also cooperates with several innovation networks.  This allows the sector to work either together, or even with other industries, to identify innovative technologies and solutions.  For example, both CEMBUREAU and several cement companies are members of SPIRE (Sustainable Process Industry through Resource and Energy Efficiency).
