CEMBUREAU, the association of the European cement industry, wishes to react to the statement made by the European People’s Party (EPP) at their Leaders’ Retreat on 17th-18th January. This statement1 calls, amongst other measures, for a two-year delay of the implementation of the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
